Immediately after completing my B.Tech in chemical engineering, I set out to work in a petroleum plant. 3 years in an extremely technical work profile made me realize that my learning curve was slowly declining. The only creativity in my life so far was limited to the kitchen! Which is why I decided to jump start my creative grey cells by getting into management.
The journey so far has been nothing short of incredible. The work environment is different, stereotypes are being busted and new things are being learnt. Mission jump start creative grey cells has been a huge success.
When I’m not learning, you can find me in a ground playing cricket. I’m extremely passionate about the game and playing it has helped me learn how to deal with victories as well as failures. In addition it has taught me the importance of teamwork and how to trust in your fellow comrades while working toward a common goal. I also enjoy watching movies and might……MIGHT.. have shed a tear or two when Jack died in the Titanic.
Recently I have been introduced to the Rezonant way of life. Seeing management at play in Rezonant is a thing of beauty, to say the least. The creativity in this place is palpable, it suffuses the very air you breathe in. The boss works you really hard, getting you to expand your thought horizon and unleash your hidden talents.
If we talk about industries as a whole, being a provider and a user are the opposite faces of the same coin. I have already experienced the the user side. Now, I am experiencing the provider side. Although the shift is extremely difficult, the experience has been extremely rewarding.
The seed for creativity is now sown in my mind, I know it will take time to grow and that I have to continuously water it if it has to become a tree. Being at rezonant has taken me one step closer to that dream.
