Let’s start a new design project together!
Creating the brand experience for EY, one of the Big 4
EY is one of the Big 4 of consulting. Their Aerocity office is a high profile space, housing the top management and hosting some of the biggest CEOs of India. We designed a flagship experience for this space.
Challenge
EY is one of the world’s largest consulting companies with a strong brand language. How does one extend that language and yet bring a personalisation to the function of the space. The Aerocity office seats the top management of EY in the country and is visited by industry doyens.
Strategy
Leverage the styles in the brand guidelines to build fresh doodles and assets. Create personalisation for each location based on the region. This strategy has been so successful that it has been extended to 10+ offices of EY in India.
Design
We began with EY’s global guidelines and added several assets customised to India – doodles, signage systems and wall graphics. Apart from this, we helped create several asset classes such as Meeting room naming, Glass graphics, Partner room graphics, History Wall, People Wall and Values Wall. The cafeteria received a special doodle treatment.
Meetings room at EY India are named after famous local places
Across the offices of EY in India, the meeting rooms are named after famous local places. For example, the Bengaluru offices featured Bandipur, Hampi, Badami and other places in South India, while the Pune office featured local places like Raigarh Fort. These helped inspire the cosmopolitan workforce at the organisation with some pointers to travel locally.
