Office graphics for Truelyser required an awareness of mulltiple sectors along with a deep understanding of their employees. Truelyser – owned by the SigTuple group – is the B2B arm of the business. Truelyser manufactures and distributes state-of-the-art diagnostic solutions. We were engaged by them to create an inspiring space for their new office in HSR.
Challenge

How do we create office graphics and a space that inspires employees with their work everyday? How does the parent brand inculcate the same values, integrity and work ethic in their new entity?

Research

Office graphics require an understanding of the people using the office space. Interviews with the employees and founders to understand the work and culture enabled us to create a space that they resonated with. 


We used the Brand Archetypes theory to arrive at the communication strategy for the company.

Design

The design strategy was simple; create graphics that reflect the work that happens within the office. We used illustrations, photography and typography styles extensively in the office graphics.

“The illustration encompassed the ecosystem in which Truelyser operates”

For the visual treatment, we used isometric style illustrations. The three-dimensional nature of this style evokes a ‘building’ and ‘making’ angle that is integral to the brand.

Office graphics that celebrate monumental product design

“The space available to us was minimal, so we decided to utilize even the staircases to put useful messaging”

Truelyser was an office full of product designers. We figured that everyone could use a dose of inspiration everyday. Our research led us down interesting stories of invention, grit, determination and strength.

Designing hi-tech products for mass use requires a certain mind-set which includes patience, attention-to-detail, intuition and experience. It is however, in our experience, a lonely job and technologists can use all the inspiration they can get. The world has many products that have inspiring stories. These are products that we use on a regular basis. For eg: The story of the invention of the X-Ray is a fascinating story that we came across while engaged in research for this project.

The meeting rooms were also themed around scientific inventions and/or products that rocked the world. 

 

However, inside the meeting rooms the content that we used for more extensive and told the story with more details. 

 

A lot of employees of the office have reached out to us to tell us how they went down wormholes of internet information and wikipedia links because they wanted to learn more about these products. We piqued their curiosity and now they wanted more. We can’t think of a better outcome, honestly.

Office graphics that spoke the language of the company - The identity of Truelyser

A lot of the office graphics have to communicate the expectations the company has from the employee and also the vision of the company. Employees see this content everyday and it becomes a part of their psyche.
