Let’s start a new design project together!
This office for EY Mumbai made a statement for the Big 4 giant
EY Mumbai is one of the most prominent offices of EY that is frequented by the bigwigs in Mumbai. This office was one of our first experience designs for EY and set the tone for the next 10 offices that we did for them.
Challenge
EY is one of the world’s largest consulting companies with a strong brand language. How does one extend that language and yet bring a personalisation to the function of the space. The EY Mumbai office in the plush Ruby Towers building gets several high profile visitors.
Strategy
Wayfinding led the way in creation of graphics. Employees would be able to use the graphics as a reference marker through the building.
Design
We began with EY’s global guidelines and added several assets customised to India – doodles, signage systems and wall graphics. Apart from this, we helped create several asset classes such as Meeting room naming, Glass graphics, Partner room graphics, History Wall, People Wall and Values Wall. The cafeteria received a special doodle treatment. The design cues extended to other offices in India.

Cafeteria
This cafeteria in the office was a celebration of all the things that Mumbai stands for. Drawn by one of our in-house illustrators, this graphic was installed in a 60 feet long wall. Aamir Khan from Ghajini, Sachin Tendulkar, Madhuri Dixit jostled for space with the dabbawala, the kaali-peeli and the dancers, and celebrated the renowned Mumbai spirit.
Outcome
Our journey with EY has been over 7 years and ongoing. Each office has resulted in creating value for the stakeholders that occupy it.
